Deaneries are subdivisions of a Diocese, consisting of a number of Parishes. The Bishop appoints a dean in each of the deaneries who is known as the Vicar Forane. It is customary in our diocese for a dean/ Vicar Forane to also have the title Very Reverend.
Our Deanery, called the North Central, is composed of 9 parishes and 2 missions. Our goal is that by working together we can better support the spiritual needs of our growing communities and the initiates set by Bishop Gregory Parkes. In collaboration, we can improve our services by highlighting, promoting and participating in each other's ministries and events.
